Here are a few pictures of the control stick. I have deviated from the plans by offsetting the stick to the starboard side. With 2 people on board, I won't be throwing the stick into the passengers lap. Also, I will be using a trim wing. This will be controlled by the stick and a push-pull cable.

I found a seal at a local bearing house to seal the 1" conduit steering torque tube where it exits the hull. The seal is a Federal Mogul P/N 471571. The dimensions are 0.937 x 1.499 x 0.250 . In case you are looking for one.

Started work on the rudders. Since I am going to hotwire the rudders, I needed to make the templates. There are 2 templates per rudder. This meant that I needed 8 total. First I made a copy of the rudder cross section from the plans. Next I took eight pieces if 1/8" plywood and glued them together with a small bit of hot melt glue and then attached the cross section to the plywood. This way I could cut out 8 identical templates at one time. After the templates were cut out I drilled the 3/4" hole for the rudder pivot rod. This gave me 8 rudder templates which were then attached to the ends of the rudders. Sorry, but I did not get any pictures running the hotwire.

Finished the rudders and the trim wing (not shown). They are painted and are waiting on the prop.
