Construction of my second craft (of the year) has officially begun. I have cleaned out the garage and mounted the plans for the UH-12T4.
The engine pictured is the thrust engine. It is a 440 Yamaha with electric start. :) The lift engine is a B&S 6.5 hp.
After 2 days I have rib R2 completed and ribs 3, 4, 5 & 6 started.

All of the ribs are finished except for the front rib R1. The plans call for 14 foot 1x4 for the stringers. The longest 1x4 available locally was 12 foot. I ended up getting 14 foot 2x4's and ripping them to the correct dimension. With the stringers cut and the ribs ready, I had to start putting them together. The last pictures show the ribs with the first coarse of stringers.
